When the KeepTruckin ELD detects a critical event, 10 seconds of HD video before and after are sent to the KeepTruckin Dashboard for your review.

No, the Smart Dashcam uses the cellular connection in the ELD to upload all video content.
Smart Dashcam is only compatible with the new Cellular ELD (LBB3ca). When you purchase Smart Dashcam, we will upgrade your ELD device, at no cost.
The KeepTruckin Plus plan, with a cellular ELD is required for Smart Dashcam.
KeepTruckin uses video data collected from dashcams for a variety of purposes, including internal quality assurance, to improve our products, and to develop new features and services. We'll only share your video data with your approval, or with third parties on an anonymous, de-identified basis that prioritizes your privacy.
If a Smart Dashcam is disconnected, the fleet admin will automatically be notified.
We currently only offer a road-facing dash cam that does not record the driver. We recently announced our upcoming dual-facing dash cam that will have a forward-facing and driver-facing camera that records in the cab. Customers will be able to purchase either camera.
